Quarter-finals here we come. Goals from Minteh and Welbeck seal Albion's place in the last eight.

EXTRA TIME HALF-TIME

It's 1-1 and we've got 15 minutes to find a winner before penalties.

ALBION CHANCES

So close to a breakthrough in extra time. Welbeck's pull-back finds Gomez whose shot is heading for the bottom corner only for Dubravka to make a brilliant save at full stretch.

EXTRA TIME UNDERWAY

ALBION DOWN TO TEN MEN

Tariq Lamptey's foul on Jacob Murphy earns him a second yellow card and he is off as well.
84'

STRAIGHT RED CARD FOR GORDON

The Newcastle winger lashes out at JP van Hecke in the box and referee Taylor shows him a straight red card.

MORE ALBION CHANGES

Welbeck and Wieffer - who has gone to right back - on for Rutter and Estupinan,

THIS COULD GO EITHER WAY

... but Albion are still a threat. A lovely move down the left ended with Mitoma crossing from the line but there was no one to apply the finish, then Rutter tried his luck from 25 yards but it was always going over.
69'

END TO END NOW - TWO ALBION CHANGES

Both sides will be desperate to avoid extra time and space is opening up all over the pitch. Jack Hinshelwood just threw himself in front of another powerful Isak strike. From the corner Joe Willock somehow glanced a header wide from six yards. Albion make their first changes: Gomez for Baleba and Gruda for Minteh.

JOAO DENIED

Albion have had quite a bit of the ball since the break and nearly go in front. Joao cuts across two opponents and works the ball onto his right foot. His shot is struck well enough but Dubravka gets down to his left to make a good save.

HALF-TIME: NEWCASTLE 1, ALBION 1

A lively first 45 for Minteh on his return to St James' Park. He gave away the penalty which allowed Isak to put Newcastle in front before he levelled two minutes before the break after great work by Joao Pedro. All to play for!

HALF CHANCE FOR ALBION, ISAK GOAL DISALLOWED

Minteh's corner to the far post is met by Webster but he's stretching and heads it inches over the bar. At the other end Isak smashes a right-foot shot with unbelievable power past Verbruggen, but he's half a yard offside.
31'

LAMPTEY BOOKED

The Albion defender brings down Gordon and is shown the yellow card. He can have no complaints.
28'

VERBRUGGEN TESTED AGAIN

Isak is surrounded by three players but a flick over his shoulder gets him into space and his pass finds Gordon who cuts inside but his right-foot shot is straight at Verbruggen.

Goal!

GOAL TO NEWCASTLE Isak makes it 1-0 from the penalty spot. Yankuba Minteh was penalised for a clumsy challenge on Tino Livramento on the left-hand side of the box.

CHANCES AT BOTH ENDS

Martin Dubravka gave the ball to Kaoru Mitoma but instead of hitting it first-time he tried to tee up Joao Pedro and Newcastle crowded him out. The hosts broke down the left, Isak cut onto his right foot but his effort was comfortably saved by Bart Verbruggen.
11'

LIVELY FIRST TEN

Both sides look lively in attack. Albion broke from their own box a few moments ago with three players involved before Lamptey's cross was blocked as Rutter was ready to pull the trigger.

GOOD BLOCK BY THE SKIPPER

Early chance for Newcastle as Barnes stands up a cross to the far post. Isak's header is blocked by Webster and Isak hoists the rebound over the bar.

ALBION TO GET US UNDERWAY

STAT OF THE DAY...

Newcastle haven't beaten Albion in the FA Cup for 93 years...

FABIAN'S PRE-MATCH THOUGHTS

"For me the cup is a chance to win a title, it's a big opportunity for us and it's a do or die game so we have to go all in, It's not easy to survive here in St James' Park but we have to stick together, survive and then we give ourselves a chance. "We're in good form but we will see today if it's the best form [of the season]. We have been playing intensly and we need this more today. We need to push our limits."

WEBBY PRE-MATCH

Skipper Adam Webster is looking forward to today's fifth round tussle. "It's going to be a tough game, it's never easy coming to this stadium but we've done well in the last few games. It's knockout now and we want to progress. "Since the Forest game there's been a lot of hard work and we've got back to doing our basics well. From there our ability has come through and we're full of confidence."
