Brilliant save by Bart Verbruggen. Somehow the ball falls for Salah in the box, the Egyptian gets a shot away from six yards, but our Dutch stopper dives down to his left and keeps it out.

That's an absolute rocket from Gakpo as he brings the ball down in the box and then smacks it on the half volley, but it's just over the Albion crossbar.

Incredible move from Albion and they should have an equaliser. Estupinan plays a one-two with Welbeck, before the Ecuadorean pulls it into the box for Gruda. The German backheels it into the path of Welbeck who should hit the back of the net from ten yards, but it's too central and Alisson saves it!

Brajan Gruda has space 25 yards from the Liverpool goal and looks to curl it in, but it bounces a yard or so wide of the bottom corner.

Well they don't come easier than that. And somehow, one of the Premier League's best goalscorers of all time has missed that. Gakpo pulls the ball across the face of goal and it's perfect for Salah. He doesn't have to stretch, but somehow he passes it wide from about five yards.

That's a terrific save from Alisson. Estupinan is fouled on the edge of the Liverpool box. Welbeck takes the resulting free-kick, bending it around the wall, but Alisson gets a really strong hand on it to tip it behind for a corner. Gruda then curls an effort at goal which Alisson does well to gather at the first attempt.

Liverpool retake the lead as Szoboszlai rifles in from a tight angle.

Liverpool fail to clear their lines and Welbeck is able to bring the ball down in the Reds' box. There isn't an angle to shoot though and he finds Gruda, who takes a touch before looking to smash it past Alisson, but the ball deflects into the keeper's hands.

Simon Adingra's cross is inch perfect, finding the head of Welbeck who nods it inches wide of the bottom right corner. That's the closes we've come so far.

Gakpo is deemed to have been brought down by van Hecke, 25 yards from the Albion goal. Szoboszlai takes, but smashes it into the wall.

That should be a second for Liverpool. Chiesa is given too much time on the edge of the Albion box to decide what he wants to do. He picks out Bradley who tries to side foot it with his right boot into the bottom left corner, but sends it wide. A real let off.

Yankuba is having some joy down the right and he sees his chipped cross towards the back post narrowly miss the head of Yasin Ayari. Albion have been sparked into life by the Liverpool goal. Now lets see if they can use that momentum.

Simon Adingra is found on the left by a wonderful Jan Paul van Hecke pass. The winger runs at Bradley, does a couple of step overs before looking to bend it in past Alisson. The strike takes a deflection off Bradley and lands on the roof of the net. Looked as if it was finding the top right corner for a moment.

Yankuba Minteh puts a great ball into the box from the right with Welbeck and Adingra in the middle, but it evades them both and Liverpool get it away.
