As comprehensive a win as Albion will have all season. Four goals, ten shots on target and the only complaint was that Albion didn't improve their goal difference further. Still, that's three wins in a row ahead of a big home game on Tuesday against Bournemouth.

'We want five' roar the Albion fans and it nearly was as Ramsdale blocks Baleba's shot and the ball rolls back off the far post.

Time for Albion to get a fifth?

Yankuba has done everything right today apart from find the back of the net. He gets a good shot away with a defender trying to get a block in, but Ramsdale is equal to it, getting a strong palm on the shot.

Final Albion change. Jack Hinshelwood is replaced by Mats Wieffer.

Another double change. Simon Adingra and Brajan Gruda replace Georginio and Kaoru Mitoma.

'Pompey away olé, olé' rings out from the travelling Albion supporters. Quite a few have left the home stands already, but to be fair some are staying on to support their team.

Yankuba Minteh is in on goal, he chops the ball, sitting Ramsdale down and he literally has to pass it into the net but he takes too long to get his shot away and the keeper gets a touch on the shot before it's cleared by Bella-Kotchap.

Double Albion change. Yasin Ayari and Tariq Lamptey are replaced by Diego Gomez and Pervis Estupinan.

Archer is played in on goal and slots it into the bottom corner, but he's just offside. Hopefully a wakeup call that there's still a long way to go in this game for Hurzeler's team, who haven't been at their best since taking the lead.

That's a wonderful move. Webster's sprays a lovely pass out to the right of the Southampton box for Minteh, who controls it before nutmegging the defender. He pulls it across the face of goal but nobody is running into the six-yard area to meet it!

Minteh gets down the right of the box and tries to sneak a curler into the bottom left corner, but Ramsdale dives down to his right and tips it away.

Wellington's cross from the right looks as if it's going to swing into the top left corner, but Verbruggen backpedals and claws it away from the goal, sending it behind for a corner. It's a massive save from Bart.

Fabian Hurzeler's team have been near enough perfect in every way, but they need a couple more goals to show for their hard work. There's not been another team this season that Albion have managed to pass through so easily, but while they only have a one-goal lead they are vulnerable.

That's two huge opportunities for Albion. The visitors cut open Saints with an incisive passing move through the middle, that sees Georginio get down the left of the box and pull it back, but it's cleared. Albion recycle it - Ayari crosses in towards the back post and Mitoma flicks it wide!

Carlos Baleba's free-kick hits the wall and for a moment looks as if it's going in, but it flies just over the bar and onto the roof of the net!

That is a bizarre decision. Aribo pulls down Georginio on the edge of the box as he runs in on goal, there's a covering defender, but it's a stonewall yellow card. Nothing given, other than the free-kick.

Saints skipper Bednarek isn't going to be able to continue and is replaced by Bella-Kotchap. That gives the Saints fans a huge lift, with the defender coming on for his first appearance of the Premier League campaign.

That's terrific from Georginio as Aribo tried to wrestle the Albion man off the ball, but Georgi stayed on his feet, sprinted into the box and then had his effort from close range well saved by Ramsdale.

Ugochukwu is late and goes in heavy on Joao Pedro on halfway. Initially there's calls for a red card, but the Southampton defender is only booked.
