Two stoppage-time substitutions see Diego Gomez come on for his Albion debut and Julio Enciso get some minutes. Joao Pedro and Carlos Baleba are coming off.

Amad finds Zirkzee in the box and the Dutch striker looks to curl it home, but van Hecke get his body in the way and it deflects well away from goal.

Joao Pedro puts Albion in front, but Jan Paul van Hecke is adjudged to have kicked Dalot's foot when he tried to take a shot in the build up. VAR takes a look and tells Peter Bankes to go over to the screen. He rules the goal out. It's very unfortunate for Jan Paul and Albion.

Albion work it wonderfully out from the back and Joao Pedro is allowed far too much time to turn in the middle. He plays it down the right for Minteh who passes it inside, Mitoma gathers and tees up Baleba to strike from 20-yards, but he smacks it straight into Harry Maguire. That must surely have hurt the United defender but he puts on a brave face.

That's a mess from United at the back. Fernandes tries to pass it to Yoro who misses it and Albion are in. Minteh and Welbeck combine before the latter has a shot on goal, but it's blocked by de Ligt and United get it away.

Amad is one-on-one with Verbruggen and tries to take it around the keeper, but the Netherlands international stays on his feet and forces the United winger wide. The hosts try to work it into another goalscoring opportunity, but the flag then goes up for offside. Watching the replay back, Amad is a yard off.

United equalise. Fernandes rolls it down the left. Verbuggen dives the wrong way.

Joshua Zirkzee is caught by Baleba in the back of the head as he looks to take it around Verbruggen. Penalty to United. Baleba booked.

Amad gets past Mitoma and finds Zirkzee in the box. He rolls it to Fernandes who is in a perfect position to strike on the edge of the box, but he gets the connection all wrong and sends it well wide of the bottom right corner. A good opportunity for our hosts nonetheless.

Chants of 'Oh Yasin Ayari' ring out from the away end as we enter the 15th minute. It's been a great start for Albion with that early goal and a few times they've managed to work it out from Verbruggen quite easily, much to the displeasure of the home crowd.

2: Dalot takes an age to decide what to do with the ball and his clearance is charged down by Joao Pedro. The forward gathers the ball on the right of the box and crosses in looking for Welbeck, but Onana punches the ball against the former United striker and it flies behind for a goal-kick.
