Solly March joined the Seagulls from Lewes in 2011 and worked his way into Albion's first team after impressing in the club's development squad.

The winger made his full first-team debut against Reading in the FA Cup third round before scoring his first professional goal against Port Vale in the fourth round during the 2013/14 campaign.

March's performances earned him a new deal with the club that secured the winger's long-term future and his displays also earned him an England Under-21 call up, for whom he made three appearances.

Solly's 2014/15 campaign was disrupted with injury, meaning he was limited to 13 appearances, although he did score his first league goal, netting against Fulham in the 2-0 win at Craven Cottage.

March was influential during the opening stages of the 2015/16 campaign, scoring three goals in three 2-1 victories for the Seagulls, but the winger's season was ended by a knee injury picked up against Derby County.

The winger returned from injury midway through the 2016/17 season and scored important goals against Brentford and Rotherham United, before scoring the all important goal that sealed Albion's promotion to the Premier League, in the 2-1 victory over Wigan Athletic at the Amex.

March started on the wing for Albion's Premier League opener against Manchester City, before the winger's first goal in the top-flight came against Bournemouth at the Vitality Stadium.
The winger found the net twice in the 2018/19 season, scoring in a 2-1 home defeat to Chelsea, before scoring a dramatic late equaliser ahead of the penalty shoot-out victory over Millwall in the Emirates FA Cup.

He made a string of impressive performances for the first half of the 2020/21 season, but was ruled out from February onwards with a knee injury.

Solly's form during the 2022/23 campaign coincided with our best ever top-flight finish of sixth, securing European football for the club for the first time. Seven league goals was the best return for a season in his senior career, in what will go down as the best season of his career so far.

That form was rewarded in March 2023, as he signed a new deal that runs until June 2026.

His 2023/24 season was ended in October when he suffered a serious knee injury at Manchester City.
