Pervis Estupinan joined Albion in August 2022 from Villareal, signing a five-year contract with us.
The Ecuador international came through with LDU Quito in his homeland, before signing for Watford in 2016.
He would leave the Hornets without making a first team appearance, being sent out on loan to the Spanish first and second division with Granada, Almeria, Mallorca and Osasuna.
Pervis joined Villareal in 2020, going onto help The Yellow Submarine win the Europa League in his first campaign there. His form for his club would carry on with his country at the 2021 Copa America, as Ecuador reached the quarter-finals, with Estupinan being named in the Team of the Tournament.
The full-back made his Premier League debut for Albion against West Ham in August 2022, going on to be one of Albion's standout performers as we qualified for European competition for the first time, as well as securing our highest ever top-tier finish of sixth.
Pervis made his 50th appearance for Albion in our 2-0 away win over Ajax in the Europa League in November 2023.
Estupinan is a regular for Ecuador and started all three of their group stage matches at the Qatar World Cup.
